All fresh materials and sundries such as the wreath frame, wire/twine and ribbons are included. Please bring your own secateurs, although I do always have a few spares with me. You may also wish to bring an apron to protect your clothing, and gardening gloves if you have sensitive skin.

The minimum number of participants for a private wreath workshop is five, with a preferred maximum of eight. For business customers the overall maximum is very much dictated by your venue, and I am happy to quote for groups of up to twenty participants in one session.

Wreath making requires a decent allocation of space per person in order to comfortably work on the design, have all the materials close by, and not be nudging elbows with fellow participants. Ideally, the allocated space per person would be about half of a standard rectangular six seater dining table. Moss wreaths take up more space than willow.

In some respects, yes. Moss-based wreaths involve binding damp moss onto a wire frame with reel wire, which leads to a temporary staining of the hands and fingernails. It can also cause fatigue in the wrists and upper body. Moss wreaths tend to be created whilst standing, which may lead to some straining of the back.

Willow wreaths are more gentle on the hands due to the lack of damp moss and wire. They are also easier to create whilst seated.

Both designs utilise sap and needle laden materials, such as Cypress, Juniper and Pine, which can irritate the skin and leave sticky marks on surfaces and clothing. I recommend wearing gloves if your hands are particularly sensitive, and I always bring an exfoliating hand wash for everyone to use after their creative session.

The wreath workshops I offer are adult only experiences. Participants must be over the age of eighteen for insurance reasons.

Each workshop is priced individually and based upon on the number of participants, type of wreath chosen, and your location. Willow wreaths require less materials than moss. I price to ensure an abundant selection of materials irrespective of seasonal fluctuations. Being meagre is not in my nature! As a guide, a private willow wreath workshop for five participants within five miles of my location would be around £85.00 per person.

Your date is secured by a deposit of £50.00 which shall be deducted from your final invoice total. The final payment is required in full four weeks before your workshop. Payment is taken via bank transfer. All payments are considered final. I cannot offer refunds if you cancel your event, but it may be possible to move your event to another day and/or time within the same week. If I need to cancel for any reason you shall be refunded in full.
