Rewarding Myself With Tarragon Infused Gin

I’m a big fan of gin. I make no apologies for that. You need to know what you love and own it.

Recently, I enjoyed a solo stay at The Pig Near Bath (more on that in another post!). I had the BEST gin and tonic there. I prefer a botanical gin. I don’t care for those fruity brightly coloured gins. I love something fresh and herbal; so a botanically infused gin with the additional deliciousness of fresh tarragon, was a winner for me.

I can confirm it was amazing, and easy to make too! I asked the very lovely bar staff for the recipe:

Take a bottle of gin, push some fresh tarragon into it and leave it for a few days. Then decant into another bottle.

They serve it with Fever Tree Mediterranean tonic and a sprig of tarragon. It was fresh. It was fabulous, and now I’m committed to making my own. Like I said, its dead easy, and the perfect end-of-a-long-day refreshment.
